~A~ Class of 2016 TMB Senior {Southern Minnesota Senior Photographer}

This young lady was given such a wonderful opportunity. A wonderful local family have adopted her for the year to give her a chance to learn English in hopes of a bright future. They are truly wonderful people.
A is so full of life. She smiled 85% of the time I was with her. Especially around Sas the horse. I am a horse lover and this session spoke to my heart.

So happy!

They happened to be burning that day...we could not have gotten any luckier...

I mean, for real?!

"There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a (wo)man."

She is going places this one. I will tell you that right now.

~K~ TMB Class of 2015 Senior {Southern Minnesota Senior Photographer}

K is one of our foreign exchange students here at Tracy High School. She is from Norway, and I loved hearing about her travels and the traditions of her home country. Senior portraits isn't something she would ever have the chance to experience at home, so her host family decided that she should have the whole American senior experience! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect way to wrap up Class of 2015 portraits!

She was a natural!

One of the first shots, amazing right?!

I just love the drama of this one.

Right before this photo, we were picking cockle burs out of her sweater. Welcome to Minnesota!

Just stunning.

The light! Ah!

I rarely had to tell her how to pose, she just knew.

Had to get her TMB sports stuff in there!

Have I mentioned my love of evening light?

Ok, so I have wanted to get a shot like this for awhile. K had the hair, and was up for trying. I don't know how many times she shook her head, but she was game! I actually like this.

Thank you K for allowing me to capture your American senior experience! I had so much fun with you and I hope you did too! Good luck in all you do! I hope a piece of Tracy is with you always ♥

Class of 2016~ Now is YOUR time! {Southern Minnesota Senior Photographer}

I know we just started 2015, but it is NEVER too early to think about senior photos! I am currently looking for class of 2016 senior models. I need students from the following schools:

Marshall (2)
Slayton
Westbrook/Walnut Grove
Red Rock Central

I am changing my senior model program slightly this time. First of all you will be known as MODELS, because that is what you are!

I am also adding some fun things that only my models are able to receive:

~Pre-Prom photo shoot~ This is a great time to get referrals. I will meet with you and your friends at the location of your choice and get photos of each couple and group photos as well. This way parents and students can get to know me which makes getting referrals that much easier.
*Prints will not be included but can be purchased*

~Each of my models will receive a t-shirt that can will show you are a model for KOP. This is a great conversation starter and another good way to get referrals. Plus a bag of goodies!

~A group photo shoot with ALL of my 2016 Models. This will be an event exclusive to YOU! Group photos and individual photos for rep cards and advertisement. Plus, we will all get together for a meal to go over any ideas you have about the program and a good time to bounce around ideas on how to get referrals.

Some things being added for ALL of my seniors is "seasons" sessions. This is a new package that will be available to split your session into two. One in the Summer and one in the fall.
*Models can also split their session please inquire for details*

Each of my seniors will get an exclusive goodie bag with all sorts of fun stuff!!

Think you might be interested in becoming a model for KOP? Fill out the Senior Model Application and I will be in contact with you within 24 hours!

Let's have some FUN!!

~A~ Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Senior Class of 2015 {Southern Minnesota Senior Photographer}

I was so excited when A's dad said he was bringing his guitar! I had so many ideas! We went downtown first, which our downtown isn't HUGE by any means, but it fit the role I was looking for! Then we went out to Garvin park and the light...well you know me, I love it!

I love this!

I got a little smirk out of him by laying in the middle of the street and then a car came. I do what I have to do!

The leaves, the shirt, seriously.

We had just enough light at the end for some nice field shots.

The last shot. Exactly how I envisioned!

Thank you A for asking me to capture your senior year! I had so much fun! Good luck in your future, I'm sure you'll do great things!

~Savannah~ Class of 2015 Slayton Senior Representative {Southern Minnesota Senior Photographer}

Savannah is my Class of 2015 representative for Slayton High School. I have had so much fun with her this year. We did two sessions one in the summer and one in the fall and she rocked both!

I mean really?! Beautiful!

The long grass is just dreamy!

Beautiful!

The light!

 We got the chair in the lake, and I got in up to my knees, it was worth it!

Stunning!

I love hunting shots! She brought all her gear and this wood pile was the PERFECT spot for the shots!

Just lovely!

Thank you Savannah for being my representative this year!! You rock! Enjoy your senior year!! And good luck hunting this year! ;-)

~H~ Red Rock Central Senior 2015 {Southern Minnesota Senior Photographer}

I love shooting seniors. Seriously, love it. I am so pleased with how many seniors have entrusted me with their senior photos this year. H was a lot of fun to work with. He had his own ideas and let me know right away what he was looking for. We had beautiful light that evening too, perfection.

I love the shots with the truck, even if it is a Chevy. ;-)

His dog was camera shy, wouldn't look at me AT ALL! It was cute

I love hunting shots!

The truck was pretty cool, I have to admit.

Lovely evening light, there is just nothing like it!

Thank you H for asking me to capture your senior year!! Have fun and be safe!!

It isn't too late to book your senior session! I have a few openings remaining!
