~A&T~ She said YES!! {Southern Minnesota Engagement Photographer}

The reason I include engagement photos with my wedding packages is to get to know my couples before the big day. I want them to see how I shoot, how I react to "the shot" and see if we mesh well. It doesn't always work out to shoot engagement photos, but when it does I love it!

This couple is so fun! Right from the start we were laughing. That evening there were a lot of photographers in Camden State Park due to the beautiful weather and colors. By 6 p.m. we were the last ones down by the bridge. It seemed pretty peculiar to me, then we found out. The mosquitoes...they were THICK! Apparently, everyone knew but us!

Looking at the photos you'd never know that we were swatting in between shots! They are so cute!

 I love moments like this

Oh the evening light!

So cute!

What can I say? I L-O-V-E evening light!

I am so looking forward to this couple's winter engagement session! It will be cold, but I know we will be laughing the whole time!

It is never too early to book your 2015 wedding! I am quickly filling up in 2015 with limited dates in the summer left!

D&G She said YES!! {Southern Minnesota Engagement Photographer}

I love it when I show up to do a session and things are automatically comfortable. This is how I felt with these two. I was able to be goofy, and show my silly side and they were willing to show me theirs. They were so sweet too! When I ask a couple to kiss and I don't have to tell them to stop, it makes my job super easy ;-)

Again, Garvin Park is quite possibly my favorite spot to shoot. You can walk just a few feet and get a completely different backdrop.

Both of them have amazing eyes!

I noticed her tattoo and LOVED how it was showing for this shot!

Those eyes....

And this is how I know we will get along swimmingly!!

I love getting this shot.

Real smiles, gotta love them!

They asked if we could do a fire. Of course I said yes! It wasn't as dark as I would have liked, but we still had a blast and got some fun shots! I always try to deliver for my clients!

Swoon. That is all.

I just know we are going to have a blast at the October wedding! Not only is the venue beautiful, but with as many laughs as we had at their engagement session, I just know we will have fun on their big day!

It isn't too late to book your 2014 wedding! I have a few openings left! Now booking for 2015! Contact me today to find out how you can SAVE $!!

~A&K~ She said YES! {Minnesota Engagement Photographer}

Love, horses, and sunset. I was beyond excited for this session! I had my list of shot ideas and more came to me as we went. The light just got dreamier and dreamier as we went. The wind was a bit of a concern when we started, but I was determined to make it work, and we sure did!

Tanner was such a good horse!

I had this shot in my mind and it turned out even better then I imagined!!

Oh flare, how I love thee!!

~A~ is going to be a beautiful bride!

This shot was accidental, and I still love it!!

 Not sure if I mentioned how much I love silhouettes :-D

Oh dreamy sunset light...

After hearing about their wedding plans, I know it will be a beautiful day! True horse people in love, which touches my heart, as my husband and I are also horse lovers. I wish them nothing but a lifetime of happiness!! Hope you work with you two again!!

~C&J~ She said "YES!" {Traveling Engagement Photographer}

I love it when couples are on top of their game. C&J are getting married in June of 2014. They getting ready early, and it makes my job so easy!  Due to the fact that I moved, we wanted to get their engagement photos done before I left. We couldn't have asked for a better morning! These two (sometimes three) were a joy to photograph and we survived the mild breeze, ticks, and the heat.

I love this one!

Little ~A~ was too cute! Not really thrilled with me taking photos at first, but he warmed up to me :-)

This was a first for me, shooting at a vineyard. Loved it!

Such a sweet little family

Give a child a kitten = guaranteed smiles!

So looking forward to making the trip back to Nebraska for their Summer wedding next year! The plans they already have sound so beautiful, and it is bound to be a perfect day!

Up Before Dawn...{Nebraska Wedding & Engagement Photograper}

Getting up before dawn is not my favorite thing to do, just ask my husband. However, when you want that light you gotta do what you gotta do!

S&S wanted that light and came with ideas, which I love! We had to take multiple breaks as it was
-6* windchill~ BRRR. It was totally worth it!

So loving!

Love getting the giggles!

I don't think they minded the blanket.

This was all their idea, so cute!

Would it be complete without the dogs? Let me tell you, I have never seen better behaved dogs before, they were so good.

S has a great smile!

Hunters?! Too good to be true!!

 I was in no danger, I promise you!

Ah...that light!

They are too cute!

Like I said it was worth the getting up early and braving the elements. Hopefully their June 1 wedding will be much warmer!
