~A&T~ She said YES!! {Southern Minnesota Engagement Photographer}

The reason I include engagement photos with my wedding packages is to get to know my couples before the big day. I want them to see how I shoot, how I react to "the shot" and see if we mesh well. It doesn't always work out to shoot engagement photos, but when it does I love it! 

This couple is so fun! Right from the start we were laughing. That evening there were a lot of photographers in Camden State Park due to the beautiful weather and colors. By 6 p.m. we were the last ones down by the bridge. It seemed pretty peculiar to me, then we found out. The mosquitoes...they were THICK! Apparently, everyone knew but us! 

Looking at the photos you'd never know that we were swatting in between shots! They are so cute!

I am so looking forward to this couple's winter engagement session! It will be cold, but I know we will be laughing the whole time!

Baby M 3 Months! {Southern Minnesota Children's Photographer}

 I have to say three months is the hardest to shoot. They can't hold themselves up just yet but try. however, this little munchkin is so super cute, he was worth it! I can't wait to watch this little man grow!

I love shooting seniors. Seriously, love it. I am so pleased with how many seniors have entrusted me with their senior photos this year. H was a lot of fun to work with. He had his own ideas and let me know right away what he was looking for. We had beautiful light that evening too, perfection. 

I love the shots with the truck, even if it is a Chevy. ;-) 

His dog was camera shy, wouldn't look at me AT ALL! It was cute

~K~ Family Portraits {Southern Minnesota Family Photographer}

I have been getting a lot of sessions with multiple families and I love this idea. Getting everyone together for a portrait session. It doesn't happen often enough. This family was so much fun to work with. We had a beautiful, but a bit chilly, morning and Garvin Park is just lovely in the mornings. Added with lovely people, who can complain? 

It was not hard to get these girls to smile! 

The whole group is very photogenic!

I have said it before, and I'll say it again, I love LOVE! This is one of my 2015 wedding couples and we had so much fun during their session. I was introduced to a new location and that is always an adventure. Camden State Park is beautiful and I am so glad they chose this as their location.

Let me just say this little boy was made for something big. He is so sweet and has such a story already. He was blessed into a family that cares so much about him. I was honored to bring his Mother's vision to life and show him what a super hero he is!

He was pretty serious at first, not too sure about me. 

And then he warmed up a bit

This was the shot we wanted, and it couldn't have been more perfect!

I love taking senior photos, have I mentioned that? And sports photos are so much fun! This young lady and her parents came all the way over to my neck of the woods, and I was so happy she did! She was a trooper for sure, as it was quite chilly that morning!

LOVE this one!! It is exactly the way I envisioned!

We had a breeze (which made it colder) but it sure did add some effect!
