S was another senior that I got to spend some extra time with. I tell you, having the senior seasons package is just awesome. Being able to capture in two seasons, and sometimes three, is so fun and gives the senior more options to choose from. 

S and I met up at Lake Shetek for her summer session in June. I found out she had come from the Iowa border! I was so pleased she chose me to capture her senior year. We had to battle mosquitoes for her summer session, but we had fun too!

For the fall session we met up at Garvin Park. I love this location and it's many possibilities!

Again, the light!!

This young lady braved the wind and chilly weather to get some amazing morning shots at Garvin Park! We had so much fun walking through the woods and finding new places to shoot. I want to give each of my clients a new experience even if we shoot in the same location as another client, each session is unique!

I have been getting a lot of sessions with multiple families and I love this idea. Getting everyone together for a portrait session. It doesn't happen often enough. This family was so much fun to work with. We had a beautiful, but a bit chilly, morning and Garvin Park is just lovely in the mornings. Added with lovely people, who can complain? 

It was not hard to get these girls to smile! 

The whole group is very photogenic!

Evening light, beautiful family and my favorite location? Yes please! The more I walked around Garvin Park that evening, the more places I fell in love with! I swear I could find a new favorite spot every time I go.

Sometimes just for fun...{Southern Minnesota Portrait Photographer}

The thing I love about photography is learning. There is always something to learn! I am a natural light photographer and seek out beautiful light. However, when I shoot weddings sometimes the light isn't ideal in churches so I decided to purchase a softbox and learn how to use my speedlight (off camera flash). I posted a model call for a fun short shoot and this lovely lady's mother contacted me. I am so glad she did! Though conditions weren't what I wanted we still made it work and I now know how to use my flash!
