~New Baby S~ {Southern Minnesota Newborn Photographer}

I usually don't shoot a whole lot of newborns, but this year I had quite a few! I love snuggling little bundles, then handing them back to their moms and dads ;-) 

This little family came to see me in October. Baby S was so good, big sister, on the other hand, she had other plans :-) It's all good, we got some adorable photos and made it work! 

Thank you guys for allowing me to capture S's first few days! He is so precious and so is your little princess! 

~L~ Family an evening on the farm {Southern Minnesota family photographer}

Let me tell you about this family right here. K and I met through our sons last year at tball. The boys quickly became great friends and K and I soon followed. She became my Beachbody coach in April and it has brought us even closer. 

Photographing them was so easy, I mean, look at them! They are just beautiful. I had so much fun with them touring their farm and finding locations (there are a TON) and just watching them enjoy their time together. 

One of the first shots and it was perfection from there!

So beautiful! 

Just before this shot, little C (middle) did not want to take a photo. Then she jumped in between her brothers and I did get some outtakes, but so glad I got this gem! Oh they are too cute!

So happy! 

Sometimes the shot isn't predicted or posed. C wasn't feeling it at the moment and K was having a heart to heart with her. You can tell what a great mom K is by this photo. Just simply loving her daughter and her spunkiness, when she could have been getting mad. I love this moment.

It's the little things in life. 

I wanted a shot of the family walking together on the farm, well, it didn't turn out that way. And that's ok! This is them, this is life. 

We had to get the cows in there!

Big C is so sweet! What a great big brother! 

 I love middle C. He is so much like my little man and to watch the two of them together it is really special. Lifelong friends I'm sure of it! 

Oh little C, you are truly one of a kind! 

And it all started right here. These two are so cute. Watching them interact you can really feel the love.

At the 'Old Place' with the Z family {Southern Minnesota Family Photographer}

So, I love this family. Their oldest is good friends with my boy and they are just too much fun. We got to hang out at the family farmstead and the boys were in their tractor glory! We missed the big storms that day and beautiful overcast night, just like C wanted :-)

Had a wonderful morning with this family in August. I am always happy when it is overcast, no shadows! We had free reign of the yard with no worries!! How fun was it that their foreign exchange student from Sweden from years ago came to visit with her parents, sister and kids! They were such a great group!

Due to little K being born 6 weeks prior to this shoot, we ended up doing a family portrait session verses a newborn. Let me tell you, this little one was the most well behaved baby I have ever worked with. He was content, sleepy and just overall perfect. Plus, this family is gorgeous, they  made my job easy!
