Little ~W~ Turned 1!

I met a beautiful family on Saturday and had a blast capturing moments for them. Their little man turned one, and I was so please to be asked to celebrate this milestone through photos. I absolutely love photographing children and their families in their comfort zone. Little ~W~ was such a little ham and gave me the opportunity to snap some really cute shots.

They are truly a wonderful family and I look forward to working with them again in the future!

~Little D turns 1!~

A past client returned to the Ranch today to celebrate her son's first birthday. We had some fun in the cramped studio, but at least we were warm! Unfortunately, due to the wind blowing (imagine that in North Park!) we weren't able to go for a sleigh ride. It just would have been too uncomfortable for everyone, especially the little ones.

We did get some really cute shots of ~D~. I love taking photos while they play. It seems to me, the best photos are when they are natural and not posing for the camera.

I'm headed down to Loveland tomorrow and plan on getting some Valentine's photos of ~D~ and his sister! Then another one-year session! February is a busy month!! I'm feeling the Love ;-)

Q&A

I love that! It's just so perfect! Had a fabulous time with this lovely couple last Saturday. We really lucked out on the weather. It was 35 and Sunny, light breeze but nothing like it normally is here in North Park. The horses were very well behaved and stood quietly as we got on and off the sleigh with props. I wouldn't expect anything less from them ;-). Was so pleased to be asked to capture the love between these two. Looking forward to shooting their wedding in July!!

Stock Show

Had lots of fun with my family at the Stock Show this last weekend. Spent all day Sunday walking through the vendors, watching the Stock Dog Trials, and then the Draft horse Show. My son didn't sleep the greatest in the hotel, but that's to be expected. Went swimming which was fun, I think he enjoyed it. Overall, it was nice to get off the Ranch for a change!

Wintery Wonderland

Yesterday I busted out my new ugly chair from Hoopla! and took some photos of my Son. I am absolutely in love with this chair! I can't wait to use it on Senior Sessions this summer in the Meadows. I just think it will look killer with all the green grass! This chair will also be used in my studio, will hopefully get some test shots in next week. This chair is available now for Sessions, so if you would like to use it, please do not hesitate to request it!

Ranch work calls tomorrow, and we are going on a mini-vacay Saturday-Monday, I'm actually very excited about this. We are hitting up the National Western Stock Show, and I of course will have my other-half Cameron...I mean Cannon ;-) Will definitely share any neat shots I get while there.

Looking forward to a Boudoir Session next week in the beautiful suite at Antlers Inn in Walden. Should be an amazing shoot! Then an engagement shoot following that. Love being busy!!

TOO Cold!

It was -23 degrees this morning in the Mountains...TOO cold for my taste! So what do I do on a bitter cold morning? Take photos of course! I was goofing around with lighting and realized I don't have any photos of myself...weird, huh? So I got a little goofy and took some "self-portraits". Plus, seeing as my Son is just totally adorable, I took some photos of him as well. He always wants to see what is on Momma's camera screen!

I love offering new things to my clients. I just received my mini-accordion book of my Son's 12 month photos!
