Expecting Baby ~A~ {Southern Minnesota Maternity Photographer}

Now that little A is here, I think it is time to share these beautiful images of her mom and dad. I know I talk a lot about light, but I love it. There is just some light you can't reproduce in a studio. This night was one of those times.

~B~ Maternity {Southern Minnesota Maternity Photographer}

It was another beautiful night in southern Minnesota and I had the pleasure of capturing this momma and her growing belly. Little princess is set to arrive next month and I think they are more the ready to meet her!! B was such a good sport and looked stunning!! 

She is just glowing...

So, little Peanut is going to be pretty surprised when she is no longer the center of attention ;-)

~L~ Family waiting on their prince {Southern Minnesota Maternity Session}

When you work with little ones, you have to just do what they want. Having my own littles has given me a lot of practice! What I love about lifestyle sessions, is I just get to follow the family and let them do what they do. I set up a few things, but other then that, I capture what I see. These work best for children under 3, they don't want to sit still for anything, which makes it fun! 

This family was such good sports. Little sister wanted nothing to do with me, but getting her interested in what she likes, and she went with it. 

Momma is expecting her prince (hopefully this week!) and I think the girls are ready to spoil a little brother!

~S~ Expecting!

I met with ~S~ and her husband last Sunday for her maternity shoot. It was a HOT and actually humid day in City Park, but we made the best of it! I love taking maternity photos, Mothers glow and ~S~ was no exception!

 

he park was pretty crowded but we ended up finding this great open area with nothing in the background. The ground was a little damp, but cool, so there were no complaints about having to sit (or lay) down.



I always tell my maternity clients "it's all about the belly!"

You know I couldn't go to City Park and NOT use "the" bench! We were lucky enough that no one was sitting on it. I could find a way to use this bench for any type of session!

~S~ was adorable and quite agile for being 34 weeks along. She was game for pretty much anything I asked her to do. They were a very fun couple to be around. I can't wait to meet their little boy next month!!

Expecting ~K~ & Family

 I had so much fun with this family last weekend! Little ~I~ gave us a run for our money, but we made it work. G & K are so loving towards each other and their little girl. Their new little one will be surrounded by love!

This is a blanket that was given to them for the new addition, I love how ~K~ and little ~I~ are enjoying a moment.

~K~ Just seemed to glow that day, so beautiful.

They have decided not to find out if their new little one is a boy or girl, and I love that! There are so few surprises in life, this one is extra special.

What a blessed family.

I am so looking forward to meeting their new bundle of joy in a few weeks!

~L~ Expecting

Yeah! I can finally share some photos from the maternity session I had a few weeks ago. ~L~ was so much fun to work with! Her husband was a very big help as well! I offered him the job of my assistant ;-) They had ideas of their own and were open to the ideas I had as well. I loved being able to capture this special moment for them. Their youngest Son was so adorable and is so excited to be a big brother!

Can't wait to meet their little princess and take her photos!

I had so much fun with ~C~ and her family during her maternity shoot. She won the drawing I had for expecting Mothers last month. Her little boys were so cute, and she's expecting another! She will be the Queen of the castle for sure! So glad I could capture these precious moments for her...
