~P~ Wedding 7-21-2012 {Colorado Wedding Photography}

A&T got in touch with me last November about shooting their Steamboat Springs wedding. They were so sweet and T knew exactly what she wanted for her wedding photos. Unfortunately they lived in Illinois, so we were unable to meet before hand. This never bothers me, because we had a very open communication via email and three way calls.

The day of the wedding was quite warm, but fortunately I was used to 106 degrees back home, 86 seemed like Spring! hehe. Everyone was in good spirits and we had a blast with photos. The venues were beautiful. Rolling Ranch Golf course for the ceremony and the Sheridan for the reception. I just love outdoor weddings. I do so much better with natural light!

Beware~ photo overload! I had so much fun with this family and was so pleased they chose me to capture their special day!

Monthly Color Challenge~ July~ Red, White, Blue {Nebraska Photographer}

It's that time again! This month's color challenge was Red, White & Blue. I had ideas, but of course they went right out the window as this month seriously flew by!! So, for the first time I am going to use photos from a recent session and wedding!

This family is so much fun!

I loved that each of the bridesmaids had different shoes, but same color, even the bride!

~C~ Wedding June 9, 2012 {Fort Collins, CO Wedding Photography}

I met this beautiful couple last November for their engagement shoot. They had asked me to shoot their wedding at  the Sunset Event Center in Fort Collins, CO. I knew the moment I met them, that we were a match. They were laid back and easy to laugh with.


Little did I know, we would me moving from Colorado to Nebraska in the coming months. Nevertheless, I wanted to capture their special day and made a commitment to them. I made it work. I traveled (when am I opposed to that?!) and got to be there for their big day!!

~D&A~ Say I Do!

I was so pleased that D&A asked me to capture their big day! It was the last wedding of the season for me, and the weather couldn't have been more perfect. The venue was beautiful, and everyone was so nice.

~W&S~ Say I do! 9-17-11

September 17th was a busy day for me!

I had done W&S's engagement photos so I knew this would be a fun wedding. This was the first wedding I shot where I took the photos before the wedding. I got to capture the special "first look" shot, and I got chills. ~W~ was so patient, but let us know it was "so unfair" that he couldn't see ~S~ while I set up the shot, hehe.

They are such a sweet couple, ~W~ kept telling her how beautiful she looked. I enjoy weddings so much, they make my heart melt every time...

Some leaves had started to fall, but we still had some really nice green grass....

I love Fall wedding colors!

Each wedding always becomes my favorite, I can't lie. The more I do them, the more people I meet, and the happier I get. The fact this couple actually climbed a jungle gym before the wedding, now that is fun!!
